Water under the washer or on the floor.
Usually an inlet hose, a torn door boot, a cracked pump housing, or a failing tub seal. We trace the leak in 45–90 minutes and quote the fix in writing before any work starts.
Common causes for this symptom.

Tub seal failure (front-loaders).
The seal between the outer tub and the bearing is failing. Often shows up as water tracking down the back of the cabinet during the spin cycle. This is the higher-end repair on the list.

Inlet hose connection leak.
A worn rubber washer at the hot or cold inlet, or a hose itself splitting at the bend. Usually the lowest-cost fix on the list and the first place we check.

Pump housing crack.
The plastic pump housing develops a hairline crack, often after a coin or hair tie has been bouncing inside the impeller for a while. The repair is a full pump swap.

Door boot tear (front-loaders).
The rubber gasket around the front-loader door tears at the bottom fold — usually from a stray underwire or zipper. Replacement is straightforward, but the part can take a day to source.
