Usually a blown thermal fuse, failed heating element, or — on gas models — a tired gas valve coil. We diagnose in under 90 minutes and quote the repair before touching a screw.
Common causes for this symptom.

Heating element burned out.
Electric dryers use a coiled element that fails open over time. The drum still tumbles, the timer still runs, but the air stays cold. Common after 7–10 years of use.

Thermal fuse blown.
A safety fuse trips when the housing overheats. It almost always means the exterior vent is restricted — the airflow problem has to be fixed too, or the new fuse will blow within weeks.

High-limit thermostat tripped.
A second safety device that opens at high temperature. Like the thermal fuse, this is usually a downstream symptom of poor airflow rather than the root fault.

Gas valve solenoid failure.
On gas dryers, the coils that open the gas valve weaken with age. The ignitor glows, then the gas never lights. Typical on gas units 8+ years old.
